Roseville (CA) Alumni Chapter Kappa League Program Application

The Kappa Leadership and Development League, also referred to as the “Kappa League” is a program designed to aid young men of elementary through high school age to grow and develop leadership and educational talents in every field of study of their choice. Kappa League helps to facilitate camaraderie, educational improvement, leadership skills and assists those in need within the greater Roseville community.  Kappa League provides both challenging and rewarding experiences to enhance their lives. The Roseville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi is a sponsor for this important program. The fundamental purpose of Kappa Alpha Psi is ACHIEVEMENT. It is, therefore, the Fraternity’s primary purpose of helping these young men achieve their goals and make constructive contributions to their community through leadership roles while serving as a role model for other young men. Generally, a student enrolls in Kappa League during middle school and participates in the program until he graduates from high school.

Objectives:

  • To help students prepare for college by providing training, scholarship and other educational resources.

  • Expose students to high-quality career and collegiate paths by providing interactions with top professionals from various career fields and industries. 

  • Develop intellectual and leadership skills within each participant.

  • To provide parental support by hosting discussions attended by parents, mentors and teachers.

  • Afford students the opportunity to attend college tours, leadership events, community service events and other special events.
